La petite ville d'Arromanches-les-Bains est surtout connue pour conserver dans sa baie, les vestiges du Port Mulberry, port artificiel construit sur la côte normande pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Il permettait l'approvisionnement des Alliés dans les jours qui suivirent le débarquement de Normandie.
The small town of Arromanches-les-Bains is known for keeping in its bay, the remains of the Mulberry Harbour, artificial harbor built on the coast of Normandy during World War II. It allowed the supply of the Allies in the days following the Normandy landings.
